Job Description
Join our Frontier AI & Robotics supply chain team and become the connective force enabling breakthrough robotics innovation. You'll manage the procurement of specialized components from custom actuators to advanced sensors that power our next-generation robotic systems, directly influencing how quickly our research and engineering teams can build, test, and scale their work.
Key job responsibilities
• Own end-to-end procurement of materials and equipment for our robotics systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, actuators, and advanced sensors from specialized domestic and international suppliers, incorporating consideration for manufacturing lead time and logistics
• Manage purchase orders from creation through receipt, proactively resolving delivery challenges and maintaining on-time supplier performance to keep hardware development and prototype build schedules on track
• Plan material requirements and manage inventory levels within our ERP system, aligning supply schedules with the dynamic demands of research prototype cycles, engineering builds, and production transitions
• Collaborate with research, controls, and hardware design teams to anticipate material needs from design or schedule changes, translating these into actionable procurement strategies
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional efforts to implement supply chain automation tools and systems that enhance procurement efficiency and supplier visibility
• Partner with finance to tackle supplier setup, payment terms, invoice reconciliation, budget tracking
