Facility Maintenance Project Manager

Position Title: Facility Maintenance Project Manager

What you will do:

Project Management

• Lead end-to-end facility maintenance and renovation projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, and resource plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Maintenance Oversight

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and structural systems.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs, downtime, and cost efficiency.

Budget & Procurement

• Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and capital improvement projects.
• Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement of materials and services.
• Track expenditures and ensure cost control throughout project lifecycles.

Team Leadership & Communication

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and operations.
• Provide training and development for maintenance personnel.
• Communicate project updates and facility status to senior management and stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance or project management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale maintenance or construction projects.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools
• Excellent project management, budgeting, and scheduling skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Working Conditions:

• On-site presence required with occasional travel to other facilities.
• May involve working outside regular hours during emergencies or project deadlines.
