About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive and strategic Associate Strategy Director to support our client as an embedded strategist to execute on one or more strategy projects, primarily focused on emails, go-to-market plans and execution of program elements.  This role will interface with the client's working team and will be responsible for presenting program thinking and planning to that group.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the client to manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and alignment with strategic goals and KPIs. 
  • Support client in strategic planning and end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, focusing on driving product adoptions and program revenue. 
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and analysis of digital marketing campaigns (example: email marketing, web landing pages).
  • Help support the crafting of aspects of campaign architecture (value propositions, positioning, competitive benchmarking) with minimal oversight.  Demonstrates proficiency in marketing channels and their application to developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Use customer insights to help shape messaging and content plans.
  • Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they stay on track, within scope, and that all stakeholders are informed of progress and any potential roadblocks.
  • Create and maintain project plans, timelines for key milestones and deliverables. 
  • Build strong relationships and maintain open communication with various stakeholders, including internal teams, client representatives, and external partners / vendors.

About You

The essentials:

  • 8+ years of experience 
  • A successful track record in a strategic marketing or consulting role, preferably within the technology or digital marketing industry. 
  • Proven ability to use data analysis and strategic frameworks to identify opportunities to complex marketing challenges. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.  
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex strategic objectives into actionable program plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven track record of driving cross-functional alignment and influencing stakeholders at various levels to achieve common goals.
  • Adept at anticipating challenges, mitigating risks, and proactively developing solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Not a must, but a plus:

  • Experience working directly with large technology clients is preferred.
  • Knowledge of client's marketing ecosystem and tools is highly desirable.
  • A passion for staying ahead of the curve on emerging AI and martech trends as well as best practices to help apply to daily tasks.

What We Offer

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range
$100,000$115,000 CAD
