About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Associate Strategy Director to partner with one of Monk’s flagship clients focused on B2B Retail marketing. Responsibilities:
- Understand client’s objectives and assist client in developing go to market strategy for key initiatives
- Drive alignment across teams by clarifying goals, aligning resources and simplifying operations
- Facilitate brainstorm sessions with client to develop innovative, impactful ideas for amplifying key initiative; develop best ideas into actionable plans
- Drive development of campaigns to amplify initiative including understanding various marketing channels, how and when to use them, identifying required marketing assets and driving asset development
- Audit and recommend strategy for updating in-market marketing assets
- Manage on-time and on-strategy execution of marketing deliverables across all aspects of product marketing & event strategy, including narrative, messaging and creative execution
- Help keep projects on track through structured tracking and reporting, constantly finding ways to improve and evolve
- Provide recommendations, based on experience and best practices, to solve complex marketing narrative and creative challenges
- Execute programs across global markets and lead coordination efforts working with local markets and to deliver high quality and reliable experiences
- If and when a project is missing milestones or is lacking momentum, bring the right resources/attention to get it back on track
About You
The essentials:
- BA/BS degree in marketing or related field
- 8 - 10 years of marketing experience
- Experience in all aspects of product and event marketing, including narrative and messaging development, creative strategy and event planning
- Creative marketer with a passion for knowing your customer and proven track record designing programs that motivate them to take action
- Analytical capabilities, able to understand impact of campaigns by analyzing results and developing a plan of action to optimize performance
- Distinctive problem-solving, strategic, and analytical capabilities. Demonstrated capacity to roll out complex, data-driven marketing campaigns
- Ability to manage several priorities and complex global projects simultaneously
- Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including both professional and casual style of communication
- Fun: Laughter is important. You work hard but like to enjoy what you do and have fun in the process
Not a must, but a plus:
- Experience working directly with large technology clients and a passion for tech or B2B internet products
- A passion for staying ahead of the curve on emerging Retail trends and best practices.
