VP, Product Management, Employee Agents
About this role:
We are looking for an experienced and technical Vice President of Product Management to lead the team who is going to drive the vision for employee agents. This person will be responsible for the differentiated vision for employee agents, partnering closely with Slack to deliver against this huge opportunity to use Agents to deliver productivity to our customer’s employees.
The ideal candidate will have excellent command of the AI market, AI/machine learning depth and product experience, entrepreneurial experience taking products from “0 to 1”, and strong customer-facing collaboration skills and a solid understanding of the changes this market is undergoing. Experience in taking building and marketing agentic technology products.
About You:
Technically fluent; able to contribute to architecture conversations and guide engineering strategy.
Deep understanding of AI product development and agent technologies, with proven success in building and scaling such experience.
Data driven decision maker, experienced in leveraging experimentation to determine best solution to release to market.
You are outstanding at defining and communicating a vision, and can effectively inspire and guide Product and Engineering teams to achieve market positioning and customer satisfaction.
Excellent communicator, and can apply effective influencing techniques to gain support for your team’s priorities across leaders and teams in the company.
Respected people leader, with thoughtful insight about how to grow & develop people and relationships
Outstanding at cross group collaboration, and highly effective in working in a globally distributed organization.
Technically savvy and able to effectively influence engineering approach and decisions.
Desired Experience:
10+ years experience in Product Management & Technical Leadership (5+ years people management experience)
Deep experience with AI/ML-driven applications; agent based platform experience preferred.
Proven track record of shipping products on a global scale
Must be an exceptional communicator and comfortable in presenting to both business and technical executives
Exceptional leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
Has shown an ability to grow, develop, and retain top technical and product management talent. Has a deep understanding of development processes and methodologies
Knowledge of Agile development techniques, yet flexible
Previous experience developing Artificial Intelligence lead experiences
Salesforce technology experience a plus
