Senior Product Manager - Generative AI
What you'll do:
As part of Walmart Connect’s Product team, you'll build industry-defining ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high-performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to reimagine how we empower advertisers and partners with a best-in-class Generative AI platform that can drive the creation and optimization of advertisements at scale.
Generative AI is critical to the success of Walmart Connect’s Ad Platform. The person in this role will lead various efforts to develop new AI models, improve existing ones, and enhance the user experience for our partners and advertisers.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Driving the development of AI models from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs, and other launch efforts.
- Developing and enhancing AI capabilities - you will align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks.
- Building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
- Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand emerging trends in advertising and AI technologies to identify new opportunities.
- Using domain expertise, internal and external best practices to improve the user experience for our partners and advertisers.
- Conducting customer research to define partner segments and identify needs to inform the AI product roadmap.
- Partnering with internal advertising sales teams and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling AI-driven solutions that benefit shoppers, partners, and our advertising clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in AI Product Management.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Product Management.
- Passionate about solving complex problems.
- Sound business judgment as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
- Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, with a proven ability to influence others internally and externally.
- Test-and-learn mentality and an agile way of working to improve your team’s products.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in building AI-driven advertising solutions for external partners at scale.
- AdTech / MarTech experience in Sponsored Product / Sponsored Search / Paid search.
- Experience with AI models and platforms.
- Deep understanding of user experience and AI technologies.
- Experience developing products for external partners.
- Experience defining product strategy involving cross-functional stakeholders.
- MBA is a huge plus!

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
