Office hybrid in our San Francisco or Seattle office
- 5+ years of experience documenting APIs/SDKs
- Strong understanding of one or more programming languages and the ability to accurately read code
- Sophisticated content strategy skills with a deep understanding of developers as customers
- Comfortable use of AI-enabled writing and coding tools
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Demonstrated English writing skills for a developer audience, with writing samples
- A related technical degree required
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Focus on quality and details
- Strong team player
- Experience with object oriented programming: Apex or Java
- Manually writing your own code (not just “vibe” coding)
- Experience with component-based UI development
- Innovative mindset, with a history of process innovation
- Source control software proficiency, such as Git or Perforce
- Strong XML and Markdown skills

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
