Strategy & Operations Manager, Wearable Devices Partnerships

The VR/AR and AI Partnerships organization at Meta oversees product-defining partnerships in areas where Meta is investing for the long-term. The announcements at Meta’s most recent Connect and LlamaCon offer a glimpse into what this organization works on. Strategy & Operations serves as a trusted thought partner to the Partnerships leadership team, helping shape strategic direction and driving operational rigor.
The Strategy & Operations team is looking for an experienced leader to support the Wearable Devices Partnerships team. The ideal candidate is excited about Meta’s AI glasses and the wearable devices other companies are building, has a background in consumer hardware, is a proven operator, and has a track record of working with executives to drive strategic decision-making and seamless execution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Be a trusted advisor to the Partnerships team on partner deals, partnerships programs, and special projects.
- Conduct business research and analysis to provide actionable insights for leadership to support decision-making.
- Help develop and shape partnerships strategies for new markets, products, and/or verticals.
- Lead operational reviews to drive decision-making and assess progress against goals and priorities.
- Be the go-to person who connects cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, more effective collaboration, or greater efficiency.
- Drive key leadership meetings and facilitate alignment on key issues and opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field
- 12+ years of work experience, including 7+ years of related experience in a mix of management consulting and strategy & operations roles in the technology industry.
- General domain/market knowledge of wearable devices or consumer hardware.
- Experience leading strategic assessments with a focus on new and emerging technologies.
- Experience problem-solving, analyzing complex data sets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- Experience presenting and communicating insights and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience understanding market trends and developing strategic recommendations.
- Experience leading and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Experience in fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical or product knowledge in consumer hardware and/or wearable devices.
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science and/or Business Administration.
- Experience at a leading private investment, consulting, or technology firm.
- Experience supporting product leadership in successfully launching new products and/or businesses.
- Experience leading strategic assessments with a focus on new and emerging technologies in the wearables, AR/VR and/or AI space.

$182,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
