Job Description
Role Overview
The Specialist – Data Analytics (Web Analytics) is a high-impact analytics role within the Marketing Operations team, focused on measuring, analyzing, and optimizing digital and marketing performance. You will serve as the subject matter expert for web and marketing analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making through robust measurement frameworks, reliable reporting, and actionable insights.
This role requires strong analytical rigor, advanced SQL skills, and deep hands-on experience with Google Analytics and Looker Studio. You will work closely with Brand and Marketing teams to translate business objectives into scalable analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Web & Marketing Analytics: Analyze user behavior across digital touchpoints using Google Analytics, CRM data, and SQL-based datasets to understand journeys, engagement, and conversion performance.
Measurement Frameworks: Define and maintain scalable measurement frameworks for marketing performance, lead tracking, and funnel analysis.
Dashboard Ownership: Build, own, and enhance Looker Studio dashboards to track key marketing KPIs, campaign performance, funnel metrics, and long-term trends.
- Journey & Funnel Analysis: Conduct detailed journey and conversion analysis to identify friction points, behavioral patterns, and optimization opportunities across the marketing and sales funnel.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Brand, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into clear reporting views and analytical insights.
Data Quality & Integrity: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting by validating data sources, queries, and dashboard logic.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Modeling, preferably within an IT product, e-commerce, or SaaS environment.
Education: Graduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Statistics, Operational Research, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Execution Focus: Proven ability to manage analytics deliverables independently while maintaining alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
Technical Skill Inventory
SQL Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL, including querying, joining, and transforming large datasets for analysis and reporting.
Web Analytics Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Google Analytics, including analyzing user behavior, traffic sources, and conversion performance.
Dashboarding & Reporting: Extensive experience building and maintaining Looker Studio dashboards for KPI tracking, funnel views, and performance trends.
Journey & Conversion Analysis: Solid understanding of journey analysis and conversion rate optimization to improve marketing and sales effectiveness.
Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and present large volumes of data with accuracy and clarity.
Programming (Good to Have): Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis or automation is a plus.
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
