KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working on ROCgdb, ROCm's open source GDB-based debugger for heterogeneous computing (CPU and GPU), targeting multiple offloading/compute/graphics languages and frameworks Linux tools and driver libraries development Research and implement state-of-the-art software algorithms in heterogeneous debugging support domain to improve user debugging capabilities and experience Work closely with AMD software and hardware engineering teams to remain knowledgeable of current trends and future features; provide suggestions for feature and fixes in released and unreleased products Advise technical directions for GPU debugging support effort across components and domains Communicate across AMD teams to identify opportunities and facilitate feedback between groups PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Linux software development experience Strong technical skills and experience in software product development using C, C++ and assembly.
