YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You engage with technical and business stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions
• You formulate and solve complex optimization problems (linear, nonlinear, dynamic, stochastic) to support capacity planning topics
• You design, develop, refine and test data science solutions focusing on time series predictions, capacity optimisations and time models
• You stay updated on the latest research in forecasting techniques and optimisations but are not afraid to use classical or greedy solutions when relevant
• You work closely with business stakeholders, MLOps engineers, and software developers to deploy end-to-end solutions and continuously improve models

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Product & Strategy Insight You combine analytical depth with business acumen, contributing to product strategy, shaping roadmaps, and ensuring that data science solutions directly influence decision-making and long-term business outcomes
• Machine Learning & Forecasting You are proficient in modern ML techniques (times series forecasting, regression, reinforcement learning)
• Analytical Mindset You show the ability to translate complex business problems into actionable analytical tasks and clearly communicate findings to various audiences
• Programming Skills You have expertise in Python for data analysis, modelling, and production deployment. You have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and cloud technologies (preferably AWS)
• Approach You interact efficiently with stakeholders in business, product, software development engineering, and data science
• Communication You communicate fluently in English and appreciate cultural diversity
