Senior Business Partner Analyst

About the team
Sales Strategy & Ops maximizes and accelerates the GTM organization ability to help millions of organizations grow better. We aspire to be the COOs for the EMEA region, working GTM leadership to help run the day-to-day business and articulate and achieve the longer term, high effort, high value strategic priorities. We take a data-driven approach that combines strategy and analytics to help GTM leaders solve their most complex and most important issues while also driving the business planning and operational cadence end-to-end, from strategy to goal-setting to execution.
In this role you will:
- Be the go-to expert for the business, playing a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and develop the analyst community, fostering a high-performing, insights-driven culture.
- Be hands-on, delivering critical insights that shape strategic decisions and ensure data is at the core of our operations.
- Partner with leadership to drive business strategy, planning, goal-setting, and performance tracking.
- Scope and lead high-impact projects and execute on mission-critical strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Metrics & Insights: Wrangle large, highly complex datasets using SQL into actionable insights and become the data expert for your business area. Develop metrics and large-scale dashboards to track the health of our teams. Perform analyses (using SQL & other analytical tools/languages), identify trends, conduct research, build models, all to deliver objective, critical insights that can inform leadership of opportunities, risks, and strategic priorities.
- Communicate with executives: Create narratives and documents that tell the story of your business area to influence Hubspot leadership and executive decision making
- Stakeholder management: Influence and drive cross-functional change by partnering with stakeholders across a wide internal network of globally distributed teams, including Finance, Data Science, Product, and more.
- Drive operational excellence: Design, optimize and drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business. Guide the planning and goal-setting process for EMEA, as well as progress checks throughout the year. Bring and consistently apply a ROI lens to all operational decisions, so we can make better-informed trade-offs
- Business planning: support with forecasting/planning processes for EMEA Sales, including near/medium/long-term planning, to enable leadership to make strategic decisions, set objectives and deliver results.
We are looking for people who have:
- Prior experience in analytical and strategic roles. We are hiring multiple roles requiring varying levels of experience. Min 4+ years of experience required.
- Experience building models and leveraging AI.
- Have advanced Excel knowledge, SQL, Python, and data visualization software experience (Looker, Tableau, etc.);
- Experience with, R (or similar statistical tools) a plus.
- Outstanding communication, presentation skills & stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience in management consulting, finance, strategy & ops a plus
- Expertise working cross-functionally and with globally distributed teams to drive business and operational goals using data
- Ability to connect the big picture to minute details, toggling between them to set and operationalize strategy
- Experience working in fast-paced environments (e.g. high-growth internet or software company, management consulting)
- Structured problem solving skills, combined with strong business acumen.
