About the Role
As a Senior Android Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cutting-edge mobile applications for our clients. You’ll lead technical discussions, mentor fellow developers, and ensure that all solutions are scalable, robust, and user-centric. This is an opportunity to make a major impact by bringing best practices and deep technical expertise to our agile, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced Android applications
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features
- Architect efficient, scalable, and reusable code using the latest Android frameworks and tools
- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative development environment
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development
- Other duties as assigned
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Android mobile application development
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong knowledge of the Android SDK and related frameworks
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and external data sources
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing
- Strong UI/UX design sensibility and experience collaborating with design teams
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting
