Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in San Jose, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.
We are looking for a Technician to assist our Prototype build team in assembly of precision components used directly in our robots.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly of precision mechanical components. Including actuators and Hands
- Collaborate with electrical, test and PCBA technicians on final assemblies
- Provide feedback to the mechanical engineering team on designs
- Perform repairs on mechanical assemblies
- Assist our robot maintenance team with troubleshooting mechanical failures
- Track and document work performed
- Document issues found and communicate these quickly to the appropriate teams
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- 5-10 years experience as a mechanical technician in a related field
- Proficient in mechanical design
- High level understanding of precision measuring equipment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in the google suite or similar

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $45 - $80/hr
The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
