The mission of the Applied AI team is to enable organizations within Worldwide Amazon.com Stores to accelerate the adoption of AI technologies across various parts of our business.
As a member of the Applied AI team, you will push the boundaries of advanced ML and Generative AI techniques to scale the inputs for hundreds of billions of dollars of annual revenue for our eCommerce business. Key job responsibilities
As a Principal PMT (PPMT) in the Applied AI team, you empathize with our customers, and identify and formulate the problems we will solve. You own the product roadmap and prioritize features to ensure your MVPs quickly add value for our customers. You are responsible for managing the lifecycle of your products and work independently with engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders on defining, building, and delivering the right products. Your product requirements are concise, with clear, measurable success criteria. You are an effective negotiator, make smart trade-offs without sacrificing quality, and drive appropriate schedules. You use data to influence our business strategy and technical priorities, and escalate when necessary, without damaging relationships. You keep all your stakeholders up to date on your products, upcoming capabilities, and future plans. You independently represent your products and the team, and are comfortable communicating with executives as well as with business and technical stakeholders.
