Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work, we trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Lead pricing and packaging initiatives end to end — including migrations, pricing rollouts, and the evolution of plan structures across our self-serve portfolio.
- Partner on pricing experimentation with cross-functional teams — shaping hypotheses and analysing results — while leading the GTM and messaging strategy to bring those changes to life.
- Develop user and market insight through research, competitive analysis, and market trends to guide packaging and pricing strategy.
- Build clear, strategic narratives that help internal and external stakeholders understand, align with, and champion pricing and packaging decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Revenue Platform, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to influence roadmaps and ensure successful rollout of pricing changes.
- Advocate for the user experience, balancing monetisation goals with customer value and reducing friction in the upgrade journey.
- Play a key role in scaling Canva’s monetisation strategy by building systems, frameworks, and playbooks that empower teams and support long-term growth.
- Contribute to Pro and Teams growth initiatives where needed — especially where they intersect with packaging, positioning, or lifecycle strategy.

You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy untangling messy problems, and aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions or advocate for bold, user-informed decisions. You know how to bring teams along on the journey, build alignment, and make big changes feel seamless and intuitive.

- You have deep experience in pricing, packaging, or monetisation strategy for SaaS, consumer, or B2B products
- You’re confident using data, research, and experimentation to turn insights into clear, strategic recommendations
- You possess excellent strategic thinking, storytelling, and communication skills
- You take a collaborative approach to influencing cross-functional teams and building alignment
- You have a strong understanding of user psychology, value perception, and market segmentation
- You’re comfortable navigating change and scaling in fast-paced environments
- You demonstrate clear judgment and thoughtful prioritisation across competing inputs
- You’re interested in building scalable systems, frameworks, or playbooks that support decision-making across teams

About the team
At Canva, Product Marketing sits at the heart of product and growth strategy. We turn customer insights into compelling product narratives and go-to-market strategies that drive impact across the business.
Within the Monetisation & Growth PMM team, our focus is on unlocking and scaling monetisation through product-led growth. We connect users to plan value — through pricing, packaging, audience insights, positioning, lifecycle, and GTM — to fuel growth across Canva’s self-serve business.
We work in close partnership with Product, Product Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to define what we sell, how we sell it, and how we communicate value to users. Our remit spans packaging and monetisation strategy, self-serve growth and activation, user and market insights, and GTM strategy for pricing updates, packaging shifts, launches, and key monetisation moments.
Together, we’re building the pricing and monetisation engine that will power Canva’s next stage of growth — ensuring every user can find a plan that meets their needs and delivers exceptional value.
