What We Are Looking For:
Distyl is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to optimize operations for our New York office. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a productive and welcoming environment for our team and our guests while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and has a strong passion for enabling team success through operational excellence. You will support office logistics, operations, and culture initiatives, ensuring that Distyl continues to attract top talent and operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
Oversee daily office operations to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Manage office supply orders, facilities issues, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless support.
Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, vendors, and service providers.
Maintain and organize company records and documentation to support compliance and operational efficiency.
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements to optimize day-to-day operations.
Support the planning and execution of company-wide initiatives, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Organize and maintain accurate records across various operational systems.
Culture Coordination:
Plan and execute team events, meetings, and company gatherings.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for New York-based employees, serving as the key contact for new hires.
Manage logistics for office lunches, team-building activities, and in-person visitors or interviews.
Qualifications:
Experience: 1-3 years in a role focused on office management or administrative support, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and handle confidential information.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks and processes.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Problem-Solving: A proactive and resourceful mindset, with a knack for identifying and resolving operational challenges efficiently.
