Our Business Development team is the engine behind our pipeline generation. We engage public sector organisations through a mix of inbound and outbound strategies—identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and setting the foundation for long-term partnerships.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven Manager to lead our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in the Public Sector team. You’ll manage a group of early-career sales professionals, from recent graduates to those making career pivots, and play a key role in developing their skills, building their confidence, and preparing them for future success at Salesforce.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Public Sector BDRs focused on both inbound and outbound prospecting.

  • Foster a high-performing and inclusive team culture centred around learning, collaboration, and results.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Strategy, and Leadership to drive aligned go-to-market activities.

  • Monitor performance, provide ongoing coaching, and drive accountability through data and metrics.
    Build pipeline for the Public Sector Sales team by ensuring consistent, quality lead qualification.

  • Stay agile—adjusting priorities and focus areas based on evolving business needs.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience building and leading a successful Business Development or Inside Sales team.

  • Strong understanding of the BDR function and its role in driving pipeline and growth.

  • Public sector experience or interest in understanding the unique needs of government clients.

  • A data-driven approach to coaching, forecasting, and team optimisation.

  • A natural mentor and coach who supports individual career progression.

  • Flexible and adaptable leadership style in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
