Job Description Summary
Mastercard Cyber and Intelligence (C&I) develops and delivers world-class risk, security products, and services for Mastercard customers across the globe. Ethoca’s Business Applications team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team to drive billing operations and design system process within our technology landscape.

The role is critical as part of a high performing team – it will appeal to you if you have an effective combination of domain knowledge, relevant experience, and the ability to execute on detailed requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in designing and integrating billing systems, preferably with experience in billing software such as Oracle ERPs, NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition principles and financial reporting would be an asset.
• Experience with process mapping, use case and requirements gathering, analysis, and validation.
• Solid project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with data security, privacy, regulations and compliance standards.
• Growing and developing teams - Participates in activities which develop others and reinforces good team spirit while working with others.
• Collaboration skills: Proven experience acting as a liaison between a variety of departments and stakeholders.
• Be proactive in seeking out creative opportunities and communicate often with transparency
• Work cross-functionally with business development, customer success, onboarding, investment, product and other stakeholders to share insights and information around process building and process adoption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or equivalent.
• Programming: Has ability to write secure code in three or more languages (eg: C#, Java, Python,PL/SQL)
• Proven hands-on experience in database tools like Snowflake, SAP Hana or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database query optimization techniques.
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration process.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with salesforce CRM, NetSuite tools or similar platforms.
