The role

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Security Engineer (Engineering/GRC) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our security posture and safeguarding our digital assets. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in information security, proven experience in managing security requirements, and a drive for curiosity and excellence. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing robust security solutions, conducting and managing vulnerability assessments, and supporting internal requirements in alignment with our security framework and compliance standards. Top Key responsibilities

Develop and implement robust security solutions to protect the organization's digital assets from threats and vulnerabilities.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses and ensure compliance with security policies.Assess platforms and systems to evaluate security compliance and follow up on remediations tasks.

  • Investigate on technologies that could improve the security baseline and the compliance (e.g. DLP, end-point protection, network security, AI).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into new projects and existing operations.
  • Evaluate platforms and systems to assess security compliance and follow up on remediation tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation of security processes, assessments and reports.
  • Lead vulnerability management, including planning, scheduling, executing, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Track vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring timely closure of security gaps.
  • Utilize tools and platforms to automate vulnerability identification and reporting.
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, and recommend improvements to continuously enhance security posture.
  • Utilize AI/ML models for threat detection, anomaly analysis, and automation.
  • Design, implement, and manage security automation workflows for incident response, patch management, and vulnerability management.
  • Integrate security tools and systems with automation platforms to enhance efficiency and response times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree/advanced education in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer or Systems Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in security.
  • Solid understanding of core information security concepts, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA Triad).
  • Understanding of vulnerability scoring systems (e.g., CVSS).
  • Familiarity with network security protocols, architectures, and common security tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Upper Intermediate English level. This will be tested during the interview process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Information Security related certifications and training (GPEN, OSCP, CEH, etc.).
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models for security applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services and security best practices, particularly in environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience managing a vulnerability management program.
  • Hands-on experience with security automation tools and platforms (e.g., SOAR, SIEM).
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages.
  • Experience in building and maintaining security solutions.
