As Global Senior Compensation Analyst at an S4 company, you will assist in managing our Global Compensation Practice to ensure we attract, retain, and develop people who are passionate about S4 and its culture as we grow rapidly. As a subject matter expert for our Global People Team and as a member of the Global People Strategy team, you will provide ongoing compensation support to our business leaders and assist Monks in implementing best-in-class compensation practices.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and govern compensation programs and processes globally and regionally, be the subject matter expert for regional/local HR, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams. 
  • Support the global compensation team on developing compensation structure, strategic compensation decisions, creating the compensation philosophy and policies for base salary, short & long term incentives, annual compensation review cycles and off-cycle compensation changes
  • Closely work with HR Business Partners & HR Leaders and provide support on promotions, performance reviews processes, counter offers, salary compression, etc.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure compensation strategies are aligned with business goals, understand business needs on compensation matters and provide training on compensation philosophy.
  • Incorporate third party salary surveys, update internal salary ranges according to the market trends and manage the annual compensation review process. Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
  • Utilize Comp Analyst as the main company tool to benchmark salary range for all accessible positions.
  • Partner with HRIS to ensure accurate compensation data and smooth running of all compensation cycles and programs
  • Partner with HRIS to implement salary ranges in Workday.
  • Maintain compensation-related data in HR systems and ensure accuracy. 
  • Have an improvement-focused mindset, be enthusiastic for people analytics, and create a regular analysis setup on people’s compensation for actionable outcomes.
  • Follow compensation trends and suggest to Regional HR & Finance teams new practices to stay competitive in the market and to engage & motivate employees. 

 

Experience you already have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the Compensation discipline combined with core HR experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the compensation programs and other human capital management disciplines
  • Work experience in a complex organization, preferably one with independent business units, with a need to maintain consistency
  • Management of compensation and equity programs with several components, including base, bonus, multiple commission structure and equity
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional initiative involving a cross-group collaboration and influence management, especially among resources not under your direct control
  • Ability to set specific, measurable goals, monitor progress closely, plan ahead and link activities to business priorities
  • Ability to respond quickly to changes in the business environment and deal with ambiguity
  • Some experience with merger and acquisition
  • Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Comp Analyst experience a strong plus
