At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we're hiring enterprise strategists to guide our enterprise efforts and advise the largest companies’ executives on how they can transform the way they use technology to deliver business value. Our enterprise strategists combine their personal experiences building on AWS with learnings from other customers, to help enterprises understand and realize the business value they can unlock using the AWS platform. This role shares authentic peer-level experience with customers, extracts and articulates patterns to develop thought leadership, and develops strategies to help AWS support enterprise executives better. You will be part of a global team of former c-suite executives with experience spanning multiple industries. The team’s experience and thought leadership is shared through direct customer interactions and AWS channels such as the AWS Enterprise Strategy Blog (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/enterprise-strategy/) and AWS Executive Insights (https://aws.amazon.com/enterprise/executive-insights/).
Key job responsibilities
Ideal candidates will be able to speak to all aspects of business transformation in large organizations including leadership, change management, technology, operations, security, business case development, and budgeting using their own first-hand experience. In particular they will be able to help enterprises understand and navigate to a future state of these processes to capitalize on the unique power of the cloud. Enterprise strategists are expected to provide peer-level guidance to c-suite through direct engagement, deliver this guidance via written content like blog posts, act as executive spokespersons creating and delivering keynotes at events ranging from a few dozens to thousands. Finally, enterprise strategists will work with our internal teams to refine our services, and commercial strategy for enterprises.
