AMD together we advance_ The Person: We are seeking an accomplished Technical Fellow with background and expertise in x86 Architecture, advanced CPU core micro-architecture, high performance computing, and efficient/low-power design. Key Responsibilities: Influence the ISA decisions and directions for AMD CPUs. Influence and contribute to Zen core microcode uArch and implementation Contribute to improved security architecture of AMD CPUs Collaborate with internal teams to improve Arch and uArch methodologies Required Experience: Recognized technical expertise in CPU uArch Recognized technical expertise in Intel/AMD ISA Recognized technical expertise in Arm and competitive ISA Recognized technical expertise in the required uArch to deliver high performance, high efficiency CPU cores across ISA Demonstrated hands-on experience and delivery of highly complex CPUs Strong record of innovation, demonstrated by publications or patent portfolio Experience collaborating with large teams Communication skills and abilities to influence peers, business units, and management; in addition to mentoring junior engineers Location: Austin, TX #LI-DC1 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
