We are looking for a Back End B2C Developer, Commerce Cloud that transform our customers’ businesses and their customers’ experiences. This role involves working with teams to discover, design, code and deploy Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C Platform solutions.
This role will specialize in Commerce Cloud B2C, but have the ability to develop cross-cloud solutions.

The ideal technical consultant is a demonstrated thought leader in technical aspects of customer and partner engagements that lead to the successful delivery of enterprise desktop, cloud, and/or mobile solutions, including enterprise integrations leveraging middleware tools and platforms. Developers deliver technical solutions to meet the customer’s business and technical requirements. Developers lead the evaluation of options and subsequent presentation and education of the customer/partner. They will also identify and proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing issues through to complete resolution.

Your Impact

  • Work closely with Clients, Colleagues and Partners to clarify, define and architect front-end technology solutions to meet client business requirements. This includes advising during project discovery and definition phases, creating scope and development estimates, and documenting requirements and designs.
  • Architect and implement user interfaces on Commerce Cloud using industry best practice and Salesforce web frameworks.
  • Work in an Agile development environment, including leading daily scrums, assigning tasks, and supporting a team of back-end developers throughout the sprint cycle.
  • Hands-on with back end development tasks, as required by the project.
  • Perform performance evaluations and identify optimization opportunities on developed web frameworks. Design for scalability and high-availability.
  • Analyze, design and develop test cases; and implement automated test suites.
  • Identify and lead internal initiatives to grow the consulting practice; contribute to the overall knowledge base and expertise of the community.


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field, plus 3-6 years years of professional technology experience with at least one year of hands on experience on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud.
  • Experienced in custom development on B2C platform using Controllers, Models, Forms, JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of B2C 3rd party integrations, and and available plugins.
  • Functional knowledge of Business Manager configurations, administration and extensions
  • Knowledge of digital commerce integration such as Payments, CMS, PIM, OMS, and ERP
  • Be knowledgeable of cross-cloud capabilities and solutions to drive customer value.
  • Work with customer teams to promote maximum use of native capabilities throughout the entire implementation and release lifecycles.
  • Be able to implement commerce best practices for our customers’ B2C commerce sites.
  • Support project team to ensure Salesforce B2C services are properly engaged with both the Customer and Customer implementation teams or Systems integrators.
  • Review and implement customer projects as per the available artifacts e.g. scope documents, requirements, design documentation
  • Strong problem-solving, analytic, conceptual, and critical thinking skills


Preferred Requirements

  • Salesforce B2C developer certification
