You will be part of a highly cross-functional team that plays a key role in developing flight critical hardware systems, integrating complex payloads (cameras, sensors, radios, electronic warfare), verifying aircraft system functions, and executing new capability demos. What you'll do:

Own requirements gathering, design, and verification of aircraft avionics, sub-systems, and full aircraft system. Examples: develop an autonomous aircraft landing solution, integrate and deploy a radar payload, or debug a flight critical sensor failure.

Assemble, lead, and collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts in disciplines such as Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded, Autonomy, RF, Thermal, Manufacturing, Product Management, Etc.

Own and support flight critical avionics selection from concept through production.

Support critical customer and program payload, sensor, and other integration/verification needs.

Engage with vendors and 3rd parties to support engineering development and existing aircraft fleet.

Own and drive your development schedule and deliverables.

Identify, resolve, and document various system technical issues.

Evaluate aircraft and sub-system design performance against requirements.

Drive improvements to our processes and technical architecture.

Other duties as assigned.
