JOB DETAILS: Location: Santa Clara, California, USA Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week) from the Santa Clara office in a hybrid work structure throughout the duration of the internship term. Duration: May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026 or June 22, 2026 – September 11, 2026 WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analytics Intern to join our EPYC product management and marketing team. As a Data Analytics Intern you will gain hands-on experience in a real-world business setting and contribute to the growth of AMD's server business unit. In this role, You will analyze large datasets to uncover trends and generate insights that support strategic business decisions. We will involve you in building and maintaining data visualizations and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across marketing and product operations. You will apply AI and statistical modeling techniques to identify patterns and correlations that inform business strategy. We will train to contribute to the development and improvement of data analytics processes and tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, and product management—to understand their data needs and deliver actionable solutions. You will present finds and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. If you have most or some of the following preferred technical skills and experiences– Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel. Familiar with data visualization platforms tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib. Understand basic statistical modeling and machine learning concepts. Comfortable working with large datasets and transforming raw data into meaningful insights Eager to learn new data analytics techniques and contribute to process improvements.
