JOB DETAILS:

• Location: San Jose, CA, United States 

• Onsite/Hybrid: This role requires the student to work full time 40 hours a week, either in a hybrid work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term.
• Duration: May 27, 2025 - August 8, 2025 or June 23, 2025 - September 12, 2025.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Writing intern to join our team. In this role –

• We will have you create content for the AMD Technical Information Portal (TIP) that will be focused on improving findability of product docs.
• We will involve you in upgrading existing AECG product design hubs and creating new ones.
• We will assign you product landing pages and content hubs to create for new products available on the portal.

You will create product pages for TIP that will help customers more easily find content. This role will require working with people from different organizations across AMD to plan, create, and review content. You will develop your communication, writing, and project management skills, as well as gain a better understanding of the doc creation and publishing process.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

• You are currently enrolled in a United States based University into a Undergrad program majoring in Technical Writing, English, Journalism or related fields.
• You have solid project management, writing, and editing skills.
• You are quick to understand concepts and tools.
• You collaborate well with teammates and can make progress independently.
• You can communicate with people at all levels of management.
• You will ask questions and share ideas.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
