Team Vision and Mission:
Our goal is to establish Amazon as the world's most reliable shopping platform for safe and compliant products. We are committed to shielding customers from unsafe, illegal, controversial, or policy-violating products, while enabling our Selling Partners to offer a wide range of safe and compliant products. We intend to achieve this on a global scale by, (1) Implementing a science-first approach to provide customers with trustworthy listings, (2) Creating user-friendly tools to simplify the compliance processes for our Selling Partners, (3) Actively engaging with external stakeholders to build public trust in our dedication to customer safety, (4) Disincentivizing bad actors from participating in our stores, and (5) Innovating to reduce operational costs. This role is part of the Seller Compliance Enablement Vertical, which aims to educating, engaging and as a last resort taking account enforcement actions to drive product compliance for our catalog WW. We also aim to proactively detect and swiftly enforce bad actors who intentionally violate them. We aim to achieve this through, (1) leveraging LLM generated seller education that is dynamic and tailored to proactive education and compliance enablement, integrated with AI-guided real-time support services; and (2) disincentivizing bad actors through civil and legal actions deterring them from using our platform.
Required Skills
This position demands a diverse skill set, encompassing strategic thinking and in-depth analytical problem-solving. The ability to make high judgement, effective and high velocity decisions is crucial. Candidates must excel in communicating complex technical and operational issues in clear business language and you must be comfortable performing in a highly collaborative environment and working with your peers to accomplish the objectives of the organization
Key job responsibilities
- Manage a global team of risk managers
- Accountable for establishing the vision, strategy, and implementation of all pivotal outcomes for the team
- Define, implement, manage and execute program objectives, including the tracking of metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate program efficacy and drive ongoing improvements
- Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to evaluate existing controls and influence technology and science teams in developing scalable seller experience tools and workflows.
- Regularly communicate with senior leadership on progress to goals, alignment with deliverables and seek support where necessary
