As an experienced AI/ML Engineering Specialist with strong hands‑on expertise in AI Agent development, Generative AI, and modern data/ML engineering, You will design and implement advanced AI agents, enable autonomous workflows, work with diverse data sources, and leverage platforms like Databricks Lakehouse to build scalable ML/AI pipelines.

Join the Data Platform specialized AI & Agents Development team (AICOE). This role is ideal for someone who loves building production grade systems, writing high quality code, and creating intelligent agent based solutions that integrate deeply with enterprise ecosystems.

Your Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents using modern frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, and Databricks Agents.
• Integrate agents with diverse data sources — APIs, Databricks Lakehouse, internal platforms, unstructured documents — ensuring secure and optimized access paths.
• Use Databricks Lakehouse, MLflow, Workflows, Unity Catalog to build end to end AI/ML pipelines and enable RAG workflows for enterprise AI applications.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver enterprise grade AI automation and insights.
• Work closely with business/product stakeholders to refine hypotheses, validate data, and ensure AI solutions align with business outcomes.
• Contribute to best practices in data design, agent evaluation, automation strategies, and secure data access.

We expect you to have:

• Minimum 7 to 8+ years of hands on experience in Software Engineering / AI / ML Engineering.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python with experience in Spark, SQL, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience building or integrating AI Agents using modern frameworks and toolkits.
• Experience with agent evaluation and monitoring frameworks such as: DeepEval, RAGAS, TruLens, PromptFoo, LangSmith, OpenTelemetry for LLMs.
• Understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, RBAC, and secure data access patterns for working with regulated datasets.
• Experience building and deploying cloud native services (microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Java or .NET, and experience with AWS/Azure, is a nice to have for supporting microservices or API platform integrations.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and cross functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant qualification.

Good to Have :

• Certification in relevant field.
