Your Impact

Your expertise in backend infrastructure, system integration, and potentially machine learning will be crucial in advancing Otter Pilot 2.0. At Otter.ai, every idea counts—our innovation and trust are built on an open, collaborative environment where every voice is heard.

We are looking for someone who 

• A passionate and continuous learner who is also a thought leader
• A team player who thrives on collaboration with fellow engineers, bringing out the best in themselves and others
• Someone who takes pride in creating scalable, reliable solutions
• An individual with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, with in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, operating systems, and system design/integration
• A professional with 2+ years of experience in developing and architecting scalable backend solutions
• Proficiency in Python is required
• Knowledge of C++ and TypeScript is a significant plus
• Experience with various databases, queuing systems, and Pub/Sub solutions, with a deep understanding of underlying mechanisms
• Experience in integrating with SDKs is advantageous
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus

Salary range

Salary Range: $155,000 to $185,000 USD per year.

This salary range represents the low and high end of the estimated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered for the role is dependent on several factors. Our base salary is just one component of a comprehensive total rewards package.
