Software Engineer, Devops Intern

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and curious student with a passion for systems and infrastructure to join our team as a Software Engineering Intern. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on the backbone of large-scale, reliable, and scalable systems.

Your Impact

• Automation! Capability! Performance! Scale!
• Help automate the continuous integration and testing processes to enable and scale
• Help automate and optimize our continuous integration (CI) and testing workflows
• Assist in designing and implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Learn and support configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Dig into logs, metrics, and data to diagnose and solve system issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to propose and implement solutions.
• Optionally participate in mock or shadow on-call rotations to gain real-world SRE experience.

We're looking for someone who

• Have some experience with Linux systems and basic system administration.
• Are familiar with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Understand core concepts of cloud infrastructure and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Are excited to work on real-world infrastructure challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Are curious, resourceful, and eager to learn by doing.
• You have familiarity with AWS services (i.e. ECS, S3, ALB, VPC)  is a plus
• You have knowledge in containers and orchestration using Kubernetes
• You thrive working in a fast paced, startup environment
