Software Developer Specialist - AI Platform Engineering

As a Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge AI applications that power Nasdaq's technology platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions that meet business requirements and support AI-driven applications.
• Analyze system requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable code across multiple platforms and browsers.
• Modify and enhance existing software products to add functionality, improve performance, and adapt to new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored for efficiency.
• Contribute technical expertise to project planning, troubleshooting, and the continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
• Strong ability to design, code, test, and debug software solutions independently while managing technical complexity.
• Proven experience developing secure, cross-platform applications that meet client and business requirements.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, with relevant certifications preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML application development or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, database design, and modern software architecture patterns.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.

The base pay range for this role is $96,000 - $132,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
