Eats Analytics 팀의 데이터 분석가는 A/B 테스트, 데이터 파이프라인 구축, 운영 분석을 통해 비즈니스 의사결정을 지원하고 운영 효율성을 극대화합니다. 단순 리포팅을 넘어, 고객 행동과 비즈니스 동향을 분석하여 전략적 의사결정을 주도하는 역할을 진행합니다.

Responsibilities 🚀

* 도메인 지식을 통해 Coupang Eats 전체조직(배달 운영부터 판매자 운영까지)에 걸쳐 다양한 프로젝트 진행

• A/B 테스트 설계·실행·분석: 매달 수백 개 테스트 진행, 고객/비즈니스 영향 평가.
• 데이터 파이프라인 구축 및 데이터 분석툴 개발: Airflow 기반 파이프라인 설계 및 트래픽·리텐션 분석.
• 운영 의사결정 지원: 예) 필요한 배달원 수 산출, 지역별 수요 예측 및 선도 프로젝트 포함
• 핵심 KPI: A/B 테스트 성공률 및 인사이트 도출, 고객 리텐션 개선 운영, 효율성 지표(배달 시간, 비용 절감 등)

* Coupang Eats 의 전반적인 성장과 비지니스현황에 대한 오너십을 갖고, 이해관계자 및 비즈니스 리더와 협력하여 새로운 사업기회와 개선영역을 파악

Basic Qualifications 🚀

• Business Analyst, Data Analyst, FP&A, Data Scientist 등 데이터 분석 기술을 필요로하는 업무 약 5년 이상의 경험
• Excel, Tableau, Power BI 와 같은 데이터 시각화 툴 5년 이상 사용 경험
• 대규모 사업부의 성과 및 분석 담당 경험
• SQL/HQL 전문지식과 ETL 및 dimensional modeling 경험
• 분석적이고 디테일에 강하며, 비즈니스 감각이 있으신 분
• 업무의 우선 순위를 효율적으로 정하고, 빠르고 역동적인 환경에서 효과적인 결과를 달성할 수 있는 역량 (멀티테스킹 역량)

 

 

Preferred Experience 🚀

• 정량분야의 학사 (STEM, Finance, Economics, Statistics)
• 공학 및 비지니스 학위 (석/박사 or MBA)
• Python 을 사용한 실무 경험자
• 이커머스, 음식배달업계, 또는 IT 산업 경험자

About Eats Analytics Team 🚀

The vision of the Eats Analytics team is to ensure that every business decision within Coupang Eats is data-driven. We achieve this by generating actionable insights, building comprehensive reporting systems, and maintaining a robust data infrastructure.

As a Data Analyst on our team, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making and improving operational efficiency through A/B testing, data pipeline development, and operational analysis. Beyond reporting, you will analyze customer behavior and business trends to influence strategic decisions. Join us in leveraging Coupang’s vast data resources to make a real impact!

 

 

Responsibilities 🚀

• Drive data-informed decision-making across Coupang Eats by leading diverse projects spanning delivery operations, merchant management, and growth initiatives.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests: Conduct hundreds of experiments monthly and evaluate customer and business impact.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and analytics tools: Develop Airflow-based pipelines and perform traffic, retention, and operational analyses.
• Support operational decision-making: Examples include calculating required delivery partner capacity and forecasting regional demand.
• Own key business metrics and deliver insights that improve customer retention, operational efficiency, and business performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on operational and merchant data to uncover growth strategies.
• Deliver projects ranging from data visualization and reporting to complex modeling that informs strategic decisions.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

• A/B test success rate and actionable insights delivered

• Operational efficiency metrics (e.g., delivery time, cost optimization)

 

 

Basic Qualifications 🚀

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate in a business analyst, data analyst, FP&A or data science role 8+ years working with Excel as well as data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Experience owning the analytics and performance of a large business unit
• Expert SQL/HQL knowledge, ETL and dimensional modelling experience
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense
• Can-do attitude
• Comfortable with using English as the daily working language
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in fast-paced and dynamic environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (STEM, Finance, Economics, Statistics)

 

 

Preferred Experience 🚀

• Advanced technical or business degree (MS or MBA)
• Business-level experience with Python as a plus
• Previous experience in e-commerce, food delivery or other internet-based industries
• Analytical team management experience is a plus
