We’re looking for a talented attorney to partner with and support our Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) team. SCOT develops and operates innovative solutions to manage our supply chain including what, when, and how much inventory to buy and where to place it to ensure products customers want are available for fast delivery. We do this for millions of items, for hundreds of product lines worth billions of dollars of inventory world-wide. Our systems are built in-house, and are on the forefront in automated large-scale supply chain planning and optimization systems.
You will (i) provide legal guidance on regulatory compliance, the development and deployment of AI systems, commercial agreements, software development, licensing, and intellectual property related to the development and design of these planning and optimization systems, and (ii) identify areas of risk (legal, reputational, and compliance) and mitigation measures related to technical architecture and program design.
The attorney will:
• Provide ongoing legal advice to a fast-moving and innovative team of engineers, scientists, economists, analysts, and technologists.
• Counsel on regulatory matters.
• Structure, draft and negotiate technology, supply chain, licensing, deployment, and other commercial agreements.
This position is based in Seattle, Washington D.C., or New York and some travel may be required.
