The opportunity

You, as an SAP PP Master Data Specialist, will be part of Hitachi Energy’s business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining core business data within the SAP system to ensure its accuracy, consistency, and reliability. This includes handling key objects such as material master data, bills of materials (BOMs), work centers, routings, component allocation, and production versions—essential for efficient production planning and execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Creating work centers and defining capacity in alignment with planning requirements.

• Defining and creating routing for each product and configuration.

• Collaborating with production engineering to reflect process time and actual workforce requirements in the routing.

• Allocating components to different work centers based on layout and BOM location.

• Creating PSA for each work center according to layout and kanban system.

• Defining and creating control cycles and maintaining updates in SAP.

• Maintaining MRP settings for each component based on layout and assembly scope.

• Running end-to-end processes in SAP (QE2) and identifying gaps for further development.

• Performing additional tasks assigned by the direct manager to fulfill job requirements.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• In-depth understanding of lean concepts and experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 3–5 years of extensive experience in SAP PP with proven problem-solving capabilities.
