Robot Operations Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. 

We are looking for a Robot Operations Technician to join the Systems Integration and Test team to execute validation tests on our state-of-the-art humanoid. You will operate our robot every day and become an expert in how to run it.

Shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM

Responsibilities: 

• Setup and execute validation tests using prescribed behaviors on the robot
• Proactively identify issues during operation and report feedback daily to your Systems Integration and Test teammates
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for both yourself and the robot during operation
• Contribute to lab setup to improve testing
• Follow proper equipment and robot procedures, including bring-up and shutdown

Requirements: 

• Experience operating electromechanical systems
• Experience with basic command line tools and processes in linux
• Embrace constructive feedback and strive for constant improvement
• Thrive in a fast paced environment

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Prior experience working with robotic systems
• Prior experience working with humanoids
