We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Specialist / Accounts Receivable professional to join our dynamic finance team in Bangalore The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, US GAAP, revenue recognition, and managing software subscription revenues. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a commitment to improving internal controls and accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Recognition:

Manage and oversee revenue recognition processes in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.

Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue for software subscriptions and other revenue streams.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Invoice Generation and Collection:

Manage the entire invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.

Monitor accounts receivable and actively follow up on overdue invoices.

Resolve billing issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.

Client Communication:

Maintain effective communication with clients to address billing inquiries and issues.

Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.

Internal Controls and Procedures:

Improve and implement internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Accounts Reconciliation:

Perform regular accounts reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records.

Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process.

Journal Entry Preparation:

Prepare and post journal entries as required.

Ensure all entries are accurate and supported by appropriate documentation.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct thorough research and analysis to support financial decision-making.

Provide insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue recognition, financial reporting, and accounts receivable management.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.

Experience with software subscription revenue recognition is highly desirable.

Excellent research and analytical skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and diligence.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
