Research Engineer, Computer Vision

Team Intro:
Intelligent Creation team focuses on conducting cutting-edge research and development in the area of Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, and particularly Generative AI. We continuously transfer innovative technologies to TikTok products, and inspire TikTok users' creativity. We are looking for talents at all levels to join us on this exciting journey!

Responsibilities:
• Conduct cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, generative AI and other related fields;
• Transfer advanced technologies to TikTok products;
• Explore new products with artificial intelligence technology at its core.

Minimum Qualifications
1. MS/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related technical field
2. 1-3 years professional coding experience in C/C++ and solid software engineering background
3. 1-3 years experience with optimization and acceleration of computer vision algorithms
4. Experience in algorithm development in one or more areas of computer vision, including but not limited to:
1. Generative models, diffusion models, GAN
2. Image and video synthesis/manipulation/editing
3. Multi-modality, vision and language
4. Generative human, neural motion synthesis
5. Image and video understanding
6. Human modeling (2D and 3D pose estimation, hand pose estimation, human shape estimation)
7. Facial analysis

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams.
