About Faculty

At Faculty, we transform organisational performance through safe, impactful and human-centric AI.

With more than a decade of experience, we provide over 350 global customers with software, bespoke AI consultancy, and Fellows from our award winning Fellowship programme.

Our expert team brings together leaders from across government, academia and global tech giants to solve the biggest challenges in applied AI.

Should you join us, you’ll have the chance to work with, and learn from, some of the brilliant minds who are bringing Frontier AI to the frontlines of the world.

The role:

As a Product Manager in the Financial Services team at Faculty, you will be focused on serving the needs of our customers across banking, insurance, capital markets, and financial infrastructure — applying AI to help them solve complex challenges in areas like risk management, fraud prevention, compliance, customer experience, and operational efficiency. This role demands strong analytical skills, curiosity, and the ability to work in fast-moving, highly regulated environments. You’ll help tackle important industry challenges in markets shaped by rapid technological change, evolving regulation, and competitive pressures.Leveraging your understanding of AI software product delivery, you’ll play a key role in shaping product approaches, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. You can expect hands-on delivery responsibility, significant customer interaction, and opportunities to contribute to Faculty’s growth from your first day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deliver AI-powered products from discovery through to deployment, participating in agile ceremonies and ensuring delivery quality.

  • Managing delivery for one or more products or projects, balancing competing priorities while maintaining quality and impact.

  • Collaborating with financial services stakeholders to understand their goals, regulatory context, and operational needs, helping shape phased delivery approaches that deliver measurable value.

  • Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders, earning trust through delivery excellence and a growing mastery of how AI can solve their hardest problems.

  • Contributing to Faculty’s product management community, sharing learnings, helping to define good practices, and supporting a culture of product excellence.

  • Supporting account growth by identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and working alongside commercial teams.

  • Learning from and working with senior product managers, developing your skills in stakeholder engagement, product strategy, and delivery leadership.

What we’re looking for:

A successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in AI and/or software product management, with preference for candidates with domain knowledge in financial services — such as banking, asset management, insurance, payments, or fintech. To succeed in this role, you'll need demonstrable experience in some of the following:

  • 3–6 years of Product Management experience, delivering digital products in an agile environment. Consultancy experience is a plus, but we also welcome applicants from product-led organisations or financial institutions.

  • Experience contributing to the full product lifecycle — from discovery and requirements gathering to delivery and iteration — in collaboration with engineers, designers, and data scientists.

  • Exposure to AI/ML product delivery, with enough understanding of data science and engineering principles to work effectively with technical teams and spot potential risks or dependencies.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to build credibility and influence decisions through structured reasoning and data-driven insights.

  • Familiarity with feature prioritisation and trade-offs, balancing customer needs, commercial outcomes, and technical feasibility.

  • A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing priorities.

  • A growth mindset and appetite to learn, with a willingness to be coached and developed into a senior product leader.

What we can offer you:

The Faculty team is diverse and distinctive, and we all come from different personal, professional and organisational backgrounds. We all have one thing in common: we are driven by a deep intellectual curiosity that powers us forward each day.

Faculty is the professional challenge of a lifetime. You’ll be surrounded by an impressive group of brilliant minds working to achieve our collective goals.
