Manager, Business Development Representatives
US, Remote


Jasper is an AI copilot for enterprise marketing teams who want better outcomes, not just faster outputs. As a Manager of Business Development Representatives at Jasper, you’ll report to our VP of Sales. You will be responsible for building, leading, and developing our Business Development Reps (BDRs). This team plays a significant role in how we achieve our sales targets. This role will help drive customer acquisition strategy and continue to scale our evolution as we continue to grow into enterprise organizations.

The role is open to candidates located in the US and can be remote within the United States. We have offices in Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT with employees based across the US. We've built a strong foundation to support remote employee engagement with other teams. We have a mix of experience levels and backgrounds, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge-sharing, mentoring and career growth. 

What you will do at Jasper:

  • Become an expert on our product. You’ll have access to our Sales, Marketing, Product and Success team to grow your knowledge.
  • Develop and track KPI’s for sales development team members.
  • Review and communicate the activity levels of the team to ensure the proper frequency of coaching with BDR's is occurring to maximize customer contact.
  • Work with the VP of Sales to develop goals and targets and provide feedback to ensure sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Recruit, build, and develop a high performing sales team to deliver business results.
  • Develops and mentors the BDR team to ensure success in meeting their goals through sales training, sales metrics, and ongoing feedback.
  • Continue to evolve our Sales Development organization so we can effectively hit our pipeline creation goals.
  • Work closely and collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, Customer Success, and Recruiting teams as key partners in hitting team goals.

What you will bring to Jasper:

  • 5+ years of direct people management experience and a passion for creating a diverse and inclusive team environment.
  • 2-3 years of business development and pipeline generation experience.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota as an SDR/BDR Manager.
  • Experience developing GTM motions and strategies to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Experience leveraging data and systems in innovative ways to A/B test, drive growth and scale.
  • Strategic mindset to help drive customer acquisition strategy.
  • The ability to motivate and align a team to a vision and manage effectively through change.
  • Previous experience working in SaaS industries.
  • Proficiency speaking and presenting your business to Sales Leadership and Executives.

Compensation Range

At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected salary range offered for this role is $200-265 OTE. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies and certifications.
