Manager, Business Process Automation - GenAI Development
Job Description
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Leading the delivery of AI-based solutions within the Nasdaq’s Corporate Finance organization to enhance decision-making and drive operational efficiency.
- Leading all aspects of the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions and traditional automations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability!
- Providing full supervisory responsibilities for your team, including hiring, compensation, motivation, and professional development.
- Receiving assignments in the form of objectives and resolving how to best use resources to meet schedules and goals!
- Collaborating with senior customers to collect user requirements, define project scope, and participate in design iterations to improve usability.
- Developing and maintaining process documentation, flowcharts, layouts, and diagrams to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Guiding the collection, preprocessing, and curation of datasets for training generative AI models.
- Leading design and quality assurance reviews, contributing to the team's adoption of best practices, and ensuring high code standards through peer code reviews.
- Managing risks of quality and timeliness, with a clear understanding of potential cost impacts.
- Ensuring maximum uptime of automated solutions by troubleshooting, resolving complex issues, and guiding the team on resolutions.
We expect you to have:
- 5 to 8 years experience in managing a team of technical professionals.
- A strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, vectorization, and their real-world applications.
- Shown ability to communicate sophisticated information conciselpatientlytfully to customers and senior leadership.
- In-depth knowledge and capabilities in your field with a basic knowledge of related fields.
- Experience with RPA, web-scraping, and LLM fine-tuning is a strong plus.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of its ecosystem and best practices.
- Prior experience working with finance-related processes, financial data, or supporting finance organizations is highly valued.
- Superior time and project management skills, with the ability to allocate work and manage resources effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex problems where precedent may not exist.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.

It would be great if you bring:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a Finance-related field with AI/Automation experience..
- Experience development with Python, utilizing LLMs and RAG, and direct people management.
- Experience working within finance organizations or developing solutions for finance-related processes is preferred.
