PuppyDog.io is transforming B2B sales with our AI-powered demo automation platform, designed to secure qualified leads and drive revenue growth. Targeting a $4 billion market, our platform offers immense value to over half a million B2B companies.

Backed by Andrew Ng and AI Fund, we’re rapidly scaling and seeking a visionary Head of Engineering to join our founding team.

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in building ping and scaling our AI-powered demo automation platform. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the technical vision, architecture, and development of our platform. In addition to leading the engineering team, you will be hands-on in writing code, ensuring that the platform not only meets but exceeds customer expectations, helping them increase their top line efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively contribute to the codebase, setting the standard for coding practices and ensuring high-quality software development.

Lead the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Make strategic decisions regarding technology, architecture, and engineering practices.

Work closely with the product, design, and sales teams to align the technical roadmap with business goals. Ensure the engineering team is delivering features that drive customer value and business growth.

Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent. Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture that prioritizes continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Stay ahead of industry trends and technologies to ensure PuppyDog.io remains at the forefront of AI and automation in the B2B space. Drive innovation within the team to continuously improve the platform’s capabilities.

Establish and maintain best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, deployment, and monitoring. Ensure the platform is reliable, maintainable, and scalable as the company grows.

Work directly with customers to understand their needs and pain points. Use this insight to guide the development of features that will have a meaningful impact on their businesses.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in building and scaling B2B SaaS platforms is highly preferred.

Hands-on with the code and a strong background in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies. Experience with AI, machine learning, or data science is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, manage complex projects, and drive results in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and align technical initiatives with business objectives.
