Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

Our Performance Analytics team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s proprietary data assets, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge Generative AI capabilities to deliver actionable insights and measurable business impact.

As a GenAI & Analytics Manager, you will lead high-impact engagements with a strong focus on Generative AI, while also leveraging Machine Learning, advanced analytics, and AI-driven solutions to help clients transform the way they operate and make decisions. You will shape GenAI strategies, identify innovative use cases, and drive the development of scalable solutions that unlock value across the business.

Beyond delivery, you will build and mentor high-performing teams, foster collaboration and innovation, and create a strong sense of community within the practice.

We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in Generative AI, analytics, and team development—someone who can translate emerging technologies and complex data into tangible business outcomes while cultivating a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.

Role and Responsibilities

Client Impact
• Lead strategic analytics initiatives across Business Intelligence, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Design and oversee methodologies tailored to client problem statements, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving measurable outcomes.
• Manage client expectations, risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Mastercard’s strategic objectives.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Build and lead high-performing analytics teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Mentor and coach consultants across levels, supporting career development and performance growth.
• Create and sustain a strong team identity and community, promoting shared values and purpose.
• Ensure governance of project resources and repositories, maintaining documentation and accessibility.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and internal workstreams to exceed client expectations.

Basic Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Business, or a related field, with strong expertise in advanced analytics, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in analytics and GenAI roles, including team leadership and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrate a track record of team development, including recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and mentoring talent.
• Strong technical foundation (SQL and Python required) and ability to lead complex analytical projects.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI and Generative AI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI), including deployment and integration of LLM solutions into enterprise environments
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages highly valued.
• Eligibility to work in the country of application and ability to travel as required.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building and scaling analytics teams and communities.
• Expertise in AI/ML model design and evaluation.
• Experience with big data workflows (Hive SQL, Hadoop, PySpark) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
