Full-Stack Engineer Intern

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. 

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer Intern to contribute to the development of mission-critical tools for our humanoid robotic systems. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and deployment of tools for hardware & software test,  results visualization and test management.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop scalable and well-documented APIs and frameworks.
• Participate in trade studies to evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for the software stack.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5/CSS, and React.
• Proficiency in Python
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Experience with cloud services like AWS.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, such as Rust.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Previous internship or project experience in software development.
