We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer - Contract to contribute to our Lamini platform. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our product and design teams to craft seamless, high-performance, and scalable front-end applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of AI and user experience, bringing cutting-edge solutions to life.

About the role:

Develop and implement user-facing features with a focus on responsive design, performance, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality code.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and proactively suggest improvements.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to meet quality standards.

Perform testing and debugging to ensure smooth, bug-free deployment.

Contribute to discussions around design, architecture, and engineering best practices.

Workload is around 20 hours per week.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in frontend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with modern frontend frameworks like Tailwind CSS, React, Typescript.

Experience with responsive and adaptive design for various screen sizes and devices.

Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.

A keen eye for design and detail, with an understanding of user experience principles.

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote team members.

Bonus: Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress), or frontend performance optimization.
