Front End Developer Specialist

Project Overview & Deliverables:

• We are making UI’s to set rates for projects.  The UI system will be statically hosted, and will respond to a REST backend. 
• You are asked to build a React admin page from the supplied Figma.

 

Description of Services:

• Implementation of a React-based admin page for project rate-setting, using Typescript, React, Tailwind, and shadcn, in accordance with supplied Figma designs.
• Development of UI components including rate-setting forms, tables, and validation logic, ensuring functional alignment with the specified workflows.
• Integrate the UI with the provided REST API, including configuration of API calls for data retrieval and updates, as well as error handling.
• Document the delivered solution, covering component architecture, API integration points, and setup instructions for client team reference.
• Test for implemented functionality, including unit tests for components and API interactions, supplemented by manual validation in coordination with the client team.
• Deliver a production-ready, statically hosted UI build, prepared for deployment by the client team.

 

Out of Scope

• CI/CD pipeline configuration and deployment automation.
• Ongoing maintenance and iterative refinement beyond initial acceptance.
• Backend API development and modification outside of defined contracts provided by the client.

Acceptance Criteria:

• Alignment of the delivered UI with supplied Figma designs, including layout, styling, and interaction fidelity.
• Successful integration with the provided REST API, with all documented endpoints functioning as specified.
• Achievement of unit test coverage for implemented components and API interactions at or above 80%.
• Absence of high-severity bugs during user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Completion of manual validation by the client team, with confirmation that all critical workflows perform as intended.
• Delivery of complete documentation covering implementation details, API integration, and usage instructions.

Important:

We offer a pay range of $25+ per hour, with the exact rate determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location. Final offer amounts may vary from the pay range listed above. As a contractor you’ll supply a secure computer and high‑speed internet; company‑sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
