Data Scientist

What You'll Do

Support the data science team with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data manipulation projects

Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions

Collaborate with senior data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to deliver impactful solutions

Help identify new data sources and contribute to algorithm development

Develop your technical and analytical skills through hands-on work and mentorship

What We're Looking For

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

Eagerness to learn statistical and predictive modeling techniques and apply them to real-world problems

Ability to work well with others and contribute to a collaborative team environment

Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Curiosity about technology, finance, and how data drives decision-making

Nice-to-Have

Internship or project experience involving data analysis or modeling
Familiarity with cloud platforms and data visualization tools

This position will be located in Boston and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $84,000 - $147,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
