Data Scientist

What You'll Do

  • Support the data science team with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data manipulation projects
  • Analyze large datasets to uncover insights and trends that drive business decisions
  • Collaborate with senior data scientists, engineers, and business analysts to deliver impactful solutions
  • Help identify new data sources and contribute to algorithm development
  • Develop your technical and analytical skills through hands-on work and mentorship

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Eagerness to learn statistical and predictive modeling techniques and apply them to real-world problems
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Good analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Curiosity about technology, finance, and how data drives decision-making

Nice-to-Have

  • Internship or project experience involving data analysis or modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data visualization tools

This position will be located in Boston and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $84,000 - $147,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
