Grab - the leading super app in Southeast Asia - combines transport, food delivery, logistics, payments, and much more in a single platform. The Country & Marketing Analytics team helps the organization by analyzing our operations and marketing initiatives across countries, deciphering the impact on our business, our brand and our users, to drive better outcomes for future initiatives.

Get to Know the Role

We're looking for someone who can do more than traditional analytics. While strong analytical skills remain essential, we need someone who can also think of systemic solutions by leveraging AI -- someone who sees opportunities to create scalable, intelligent solutions that go beyond one-off analyses. You'll spend most of your time on analytics work, but you'll also have the opportunity to build AI-powered frameworks and tools that make our team more engaging. You will be reporting to the Manager. You will be based onsite.

The team works closely with Business, Operations, Marketing, and also Engineering, Product and other Data teams to understand needs, track key metrics, and deliver data-driven solutions that evolve with our markets.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Be involved into the business to understand aspects of our ops and marketing in countries
• Conduct in-depth analysis and provide insights based on business needs
• Develop data-driven solutions such as reports, dashboards, models and analytical frameworks to support stakeholder decisions
• Build AI-powered solutions and frameworks that solve problems systematically
• Identify relevant opportunities to build reusable solution frameworks versus one-off analyses
• Shape the underlying data infrastructure as foundation of our AI solutions
• Support automation initiatives and scalable measurement approaches to improve analytics efficiency
• Provide support and training to stakeholder teams on analytical insights, tools and methodologies

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields such as Analytics, Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related.
• Proficient knowledge of SQL (or Presto, Hive) and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Holistics)
• Solid programming skills in Python or R
• Strong interest in AI, particularly LLMs and GenAI utilization
• Strong ability to work with large and complex data sets
• Full professional working proficiency in English and in Bahasa
