The Service excellence team is a part of the Common Shared Services organization and supports multiple functions (including Finance, SCM, HR Operations, and Trade Transport and Logistics amongst others). As AI Innovation Engineer within the Business Process Automation team, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on enabling the CSS functions to deliver their services with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Assist in evaluating GENAI for enterprise use cases by comparing accuracy, latency, and overall response quality.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of agentic AI solutions using frameworks such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP), enabling LLMs to orchestrate tools, execute multi step tasks, and integrate with enterprise workflows.
• Perform basic hallucination checks and output validation to identify improvement areas.
• Monitor model performance, drift, and inference quality, and support periodic tuning cycles.
• Design, refine, and maintain effective prompts by creating reusable prompt templates, prompt chains, and structured prompt patterns to improve accuracy, reliability, and consistency across business scenarios.
• Work closely with automation developers and business teams to understand requirements and deliver AI powered solutions.
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions by providing inputs on model selection, integration, and operational considerations.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy APIs or microservices to expose AI/LLM capabilities for applications and automation workflows, ensuring solutions meet required performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance standards.
• Develop AI solution components using Python or any programming language required for integration, automation, or end to end delivery of AI capabilities.
• Write clean, modular, and well documented code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint-level engineering activities.
• Follow best practices for testing, version control, CI/CD, and AI model lifecycle management to ensure smooth delivery.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Should have bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field.
• Must have 3–5 years of hands-on experience working on applied AI, machine learning, or AI solution delivery projects.
• Practical experience with Python and commonly used ML/NLP libraries in delivery environments.
• Exposure to LLMs, transformer models, embeddings, and enterprise generative AI platforms.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, or related cloud components used in solution delivery.
• Experience using Docker/Kubernetes or Azure serverless frameworks for packaging and deploying AI services.
• Ability to develop, test, and deploy APIs or microservices that integrate AI capabilities with business applications and automation platforms.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve issues across pipelines, model inference, and integrations.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with automation teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
