What We Are Looking For

AI Platform Engineers design and build Distillery — our platform to build, evolve, and operate AI Systems for diverse F500 workflows. You will be responsible for developing scalable services, improving system reliability, and ensuring our AI infrastructure meets the needs of our customer workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design an AI Native Platform – Our AI solutions are built, refined, and operated by AI. Thus the platform deeply integrates AI into it’s core principles. You’ll define this by translating traditional requirements into the world of AI.

• Write Cloud Native Services Using a Modern Python Stack — Our systems are deployed to our customer cloud/on prem environments on Kubernetes. We use FastAPI, SQL Alchemy, and Alembic to write performant services in python.

• Advocate for Strong Software Engineering Practice – Engineers on our platform team come from the strongest engineering companies in the world. They know what good looks like and radiate it across the company.

• Collaborate with Customer-Facing Teams – Partner with forward-deployed engineers and business SMEs to translate real-world operational needs into platform features.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of professional experience in software engineering on a product or platform team.

• Expertise in Python, Java, Golang, C++ or other similar systems programming langauges.

• Strong experience with modern Dev Ops and continuous delivery practices. Able to ship fast and safe.

• Demonstrated excitement to incorporate AI into your life, use of Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc in development workflows.

• Specialized knowledge in core platform requirements such as security, storage, compute orchestration, ML/AI Ops, and observability.
